			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To get in shape you need to lose weight and build muscles. In order to correctly reduce weight, you need to be able to burn calories by regular exercise that is easy. The more muscles you have in your body, the more you&#8217;ll be able to exercise and the faster you&#8217;ll burn calories. Interestingly, many people don&#8217;t know how to build muscles. Unless they have a physical job that allows them to use their muscles every day, they are not really aware how to build muscle in their body.</p>
<p>Learning how to build muscles is very easy but actually building the muscles can be very difficult. Do you want to build muscles and lose weight? Do you want to build muscles without losing weight? Your response to these two questions will determine what steps need to be taken.</p>
<p><strong>How to Build Muscles without Losing Weight</strong></p>
<p>One of the best method to build muscles without a reduction in weight is to lift weights. If this is something you think you&#8217;ll want to do long term, you may want to invest in a set of weights. You can buy these weights from any fitness store and can consider buying used weights to save money. Online auctions or shops in your area may offer used weights at a discount. If buying weights is not possible, consider going to a gym to work out.</p>
<p>Although you hear and read a lot about the usefulness of cardiovascular exercises, they&#8217;re more commonly used when the target is building muscle, losing weight and improving your overall health. If building muscle is your only goal, you may want to completely stop or reduce the amount of cardio exercises you&#8217;re doing.</p>
<p><strong>Set Goals For Yourself</strong></p>
<p>The first thing you need to do to ensure success is to establish practical goals for yourself. Set a target for the number of days you intend to work out in the whole week. Many times the number of days you intend to exercise and the number of days you can work out are very different. It is a good idea to set a target of 3-5 days a week with each session lasting just 1 hour. The one thing you do not want to do is overdo your training.  If you work out too often or too strenuously, you&#8217;ll get tired quicker and may reduce muscles instead of building more.</p>
<p>Working on specific parts of the body can also slow down progress. It&#8217;s very important that you work out the entire body. If you&#8217;re lifting weights, distribute the sessions equally for all parts of your body (legs, abs, arms, chest, etc.). Workouts should be just 6 to 12 sets per session. It is a better idea to reserve the higher number for the major muscles such as legs, chest and keep the lower number for the smaller muscles such as biceps, triceps etc.</p>
<p><strong>A Healthy Diet Will Help Build Muscles</strong></p>
<p>You&#8217;ve probably always been informed that dieting is for losing weight and only for losing weight. However, if your target is to develop muscle, you will need to regulate your diet. As a metter of fact, your nutrition is almost as important for building muscle as your exercises.</p>
<p>Carbohydrates are an important component of your diet. Although many people feel carbs should be avoided, they&#8217;re vital for helping rid the body of fat and gaining muscle mass. The important thing is to consume &#8220;good&#8221; carbs such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.</p>
<p>You should be careful about the sort of fats you eat. The best fats for your body are polyunsaturated fats, which can be found in fish, flaxseed, nuts, olive oil or anything rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.</p>
<p>You need to stay away from foods that are high in Trans and saturated fats. This information is provided on almost all products you purchase today so it&#8217;s easy to know what you&#8217;re eating.  You may want to be careful about monitoring what you buy from vending machines as these are commonly consumed and normally rich in saturated fats.</p>
<p>To build muscles it is a good idea to eat a diet that is rich in proteins. These are usually found in eggs, meat and legumes.</p>
<p>Irrespective of your desire to lose weight it is an important concept to count your calorie intake. If you want to just build muscle without redusing weight, you should take in more calories than you can burn. The workouts will convert these extra calories into muscle. However, if you wish to lose weight as well, you need to consume less calories than you burn.</p>
